Today, I’ll show you how to make the traditional “Quiche Lorraine”. This recipe is one of the easiest and fastest I know and it’s probably the meal I cook the most often! It’s a typical dish from my homeland, maybe that’s why I love it so much…

Quiche Lorraine

Ingredients

  • 1 puff pastry
  • 250g of bacon (9oz)
  • 6 eggs
  • 250g of cream (9oz)
  • 1 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 200g (7oz) of grounded gruyere
  • salt, pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix the eggs, the cream and the gruyere. Add the nutmeg. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Spread the bacon on the pastry and pour the mixture of eggs and cheese.
  3. Place in the pre-heated oven for about 40 min at 200ºC (392ºF).

Enjoy!!
