Green Beans with Bacon
Difficulty:

Preparation time:
10min.
This is a dish you can prepare in a few minutes. I use it as main dish usually but you can also serve it as a side dish, with meat for example, or accompanied by potatoes. It’s not a fancy recipe, but it’s simple.

Ingredients
- 300g of fresh green beans (10oz)
- 125g of bacon (4.4oz)(
- 30mL of cream (1oz)
- 1 onion
- salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
Instructions
- Boil the fresh green beans for 10 min.
- In a pan, heat the olive oil and add the onions and the bacon. Let fry for a few minutes.
- Wring the green beans and add them to the bacon.
- Let cook for about 5 minutes and then add the cream. Mix well. Season with salt and pepper and serve.
PS: you can avoid the bacon for a vegetarian version…
