Tomato Pasta

Today’s recipe is one that everybody probably already knows how to prepare, but well I had some spare tomato sauce from yesterday… Anyway I hope you’ll like it. I used spaghettis, but you can use any kind of pasta of course!

Tomato Pasta

Ingredients

  • 500g of tomato sauce
  • 4 leaves of laurel
  • 2 onions
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of chicken broth
  • 150ml of cream
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 500g of spaghetti
  • 250 of grounded beef meat
  • 100g of grated Parmeggiano Reggiano cheese

Instructions

  1. Cut the onions and the garlic and heat them in the olive oil in a pot.
  2. Add the tomato sauce, a glass of water, the sugar, the basil and the chicken broth.
  3. Add the cream. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Simmer until thickened.
  5. Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti in boiling water for 8 min.
  6. In a pan, cook the meat with a bit of olive oil.
  7. Drain the pasta and put it back in the pot. Add the sauce and the meat. Spread the cheese on top.
  8. Mix everything and serve very hot, with a green salad and red wine.
