Chocolate Crepe

This chocolate crepe recipe is really easy to prepare. The only trick is in cooking the crepes, but it takes just one or two trials to master the technique. No matter how many times I tried, the first crepe is always useless (my mom always told me to throw the first out so it’s not just me…). Anyway the recipe described here is not only for sweet dessert crepes but also for salty “galettes“, as we call them in Brittany. You can fill them with whatever you like really, from ham and cheese, to strawberries and chocolate. If you prefer plain crepes, you can add sugar to the batter, and even a bit of Grand Marnier for the taste!

Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 250g of flour
- 25g of butter
- 1/2L of milk
- salt
- dark chocolate
Instructions
- Blend the milk, eggs, flour and butter for about 1min.
- Grease slightly a crepe pan with butter and heat it.
- Pour about 1/4 cup of batter on the pan and tilt it to cover it with batter.
- Cook at high fire for a 3-4 minutes, until the batter becomes easily detachable.
- Flip the crepe over and cook it another 2-3 minutes.
- Place chocolate pieces on a straight line in the middle of the crepe.
- Fold the crepe in 2 or 3 and let the chocolate melt for 2-3 min.
- Slide crepe on a plate and serve hot with a scoop of ice cream or fresh fruits.

Coucou Sylvain!
Ça fait plaisir de te voir par ici :-) Oui je fais les photos moi-même et tout et tout… mais je n’en fais pas tous les jours quand même. Bon sinon, c’est quand tu veux pour une session desserts au chocolat à Barcelona, ça te changera du froid du nord!!
