Apple & Cinnamon Pie
Difficulty:

Preparation time:
20min.
This was my first time preparing an apple pie ever, although I’ve seen my mom and many other people do it many times. I don’t know I usually think they taste a bit boring, but today I had a few apples to spare so I thought why not? To increase a bit the taste, I decided to add some apple compote and sugar, which is coincidently much easier than preparing the usual eggs and cream filling. The result was really tasty, bu the pie was a bit more wet than expected.
Ingredients
- 1 puff pastry
- 3 Fuji apples
- 1 cup of apple compote
- 50g of brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon of cinnamon
Instructions
- Peel, core and slice the apples.
- Cover the puff pastry with apple compote, on a pie plate.
- Fill the crust with the apples.
- Spread the brown sugar and cinnamon on top.
- Place in the pre-heated oven for about 15min at 220ºC.
Bon appétit!
