Chocolate Croissants
Difficulty:

Preparation time:
10min
I don’t know if this “trick” counts as a recipe, since it is so easy and quick to prepare!!! Well I guess if you prepare the puff pastry it can take a while, but I usually don’t bother and buy pastries already prepared. I try to always keep some in the freezer, since I can use them in case of emergency to prepare many different recipes from appetizers to desserts…

Ingredients
- 1 puff pastry
- 100g of dark chocolate
- 1 yolk
Instructions
- Place the puff pastry on greaseproof paper and on an oven grid.
- Cut the dough in 6 triangles and place a bar of chocolate on the base of each triangle.
- Roll the triangles to form croissants, starting from the base to the tip.
- Paint the top part using a brush with the yolk.
- Place the pastries in the preheated oven for 10 min at 180ºC.
Let the croissants sit for a few hours at room temperature before you enjoy them!
