Strawberry Pie

I thought I’d try a chocolate-free dessert for a change, so here is the recipe of a great and easy strawberry pie. If you’re not valiant enough, you can also prepare the pie crust, which is actually not as hard as it seems. It would just take longer to prepare!
Ingredients
- 1 baked pie crust
- 1/2kg of strawberries
- 1 cup of white sugar
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 3/4 cup of water
Instructions
- Place half of the strawberries on the pastry.
- Mash the rest of them and mix them with the sugar in a saucepan.
- Heat slowly until it boils, stirring frequently.
- Add the cornstarch in the mixture and stir until it thickens.
- Pour the sauce over the strawberries on the pastry.
Let it sit for an hour before serving. Bon appétit!
